Italy
In Italy, girl and boy scouts are in different troops but they earn the same badges and participate in the same types of activities.
Italian scouts have two levels of badgework, green and yellow. They have four main categories in which they can earn badges - citizenship, fitness, handcraft and character.
Some badges they do that are different to ours are folklore, mime, personal defence, living up, stoker, herbetism, agora.
America
In America they have boy scouts and girl scouts, and also dog scouts! Boy scouts do what we do, while girl scouts don't do adventurous activities or construction. Girl scouts focus on first aid, environment and animals, crafts and community.
Girl scouts have badges for babysitting, horse fans, first aid, and embroidery.
Boy scouts don't just have PL and APL, they have a whole range of ranks with badges.
Games
Scoutbase UK has heaps of great ideas for all kinds of games for scouts.
