Animal signs

We have seen evidence of wild pigs and wombats on our hikes, and have seen lots of kangaroos, wallabies, rabbits and sheep. We've heard the dingos howling at night when we've been in Namadji National Park. There are plenty of footprints, scats (poo), bones and burrows to show us where they've been.

 

 

Trail signs

Learn about the signs that you can leave for someone to follow your trail. They are explained in the Scout Handbook. Ask your leader or PL to show them to you and try them out with your patrol.
